Station Seven Support Worker (Weekends/Evenings)

This a new role to support the opening of Station Seven at the weekends and some evenings.

This role will be key in overseeing the building during use. From opening and closing the building, being the main point of contact for users of the building, and setting up spaces for use. As well as overseeing members of the local community using the building for informal purposes to allow people to meet others, share stories and have fun through informal activities.

The post holder should be community-minded with strong customer services skills and we warm and welcoming to all users of the building.

Youth Workers (Relief)

We are looking for relief Youth Workers who can support our youth programmes in Station Seven, Johnstone. 

Youth Workers play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our services for young people. This position involves delivering targeted youth work activities. Including physical activity, health and emotional wellbeing sessions and sporting opportunities.

This role would be on a relief basis, as and when required and paid £13.50 per hour. We are particularly seeking youth workers for our teenage groups, especially on Thursday evenings from 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM, with the possibility of additional evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This role would suit someone who has had experience of leading youth groups and activities and has a sound understanding of the social, health and wellbeing issues affecting young people. As well as being engaging and welcoming to young people.

We have a fantastic group on a Tuesday afternoon for P5-P7 children where they play games and eat healthy food. The group has been running for a year and is now fully established in our youth programme.

We seek a passionate and enthusiastic Children’s Worker to join this Tuesday's after-school group from 3 to 5 PM. 

We want someone who is warm, engaging and fun working with primary-age children and who is confident leading children's games and sports activities.

This post requires a PVG for children.
