Doors Open Day | Saturday 2nd September

Active Communities is delighted to announce that we will be taking part in this year's Doors Open Day. Mark your calendar for Saturday 2nd September, because Station Seven will be throwing its doors wide open to the local community from 10am until 2pm.

It is your chance to dive into the past and explore the history of this remarkable building. Our friendly team will be your guide, leading you through a free tour that is packed with fascinating stories.

We're also launching our brand-new What's On guide. This guide is your key to discovering all the incredible things happening at Station Seven.

Our Food Team will be on-hand to host demonstrations of our free classes, including:

  • Cooking with Iain | Lentil Bolognese | Starts: 11am, 12pm and 1pm -Iain will demonstrate how to make a delicious and healthy lentil bolognese.
  • Fun Fruit Creations with Rachael | Starts: 11.30am and 12.30pm - Rachael will demonstrate how to get creative to help make kids more interested in eating fruit.

Plus, as part of our cookery demonstrations, we're giving away a total of 60 free food bags worth over £10!*

We will also have arts and crafts, along with music and lots more exciting entertainment. Whether you're a craft enthusiast, a music lover, or just someone looking for a good time, there is something here for you. And don’t forget to enjoy our homemade soup and home baking throughout the day.
