Sarah Jane is from Johnstone and has been involved with Active Communities for five years as a volunteer and Trustee.

She has played a key role within the Board of Active Communities and the development of Station Seven.

Sarah Jane brings a wealth of local knowledge to the post as well as great organisational and fundraising skills through her years of experience as a board member and also as chair of St Margaret’s Primary PTA.

Sarah Jane, who works for the NHS, said: "I am passionate about helping people and watching them thrive with support and friendship.

"I am delighted to be the new chair of the board of Active Communities and look forward to getting stuck in."
