A New Look for Station Seven - Thanks to B&Q Paisley

We’re thrilled to share that our friends from B and Q Paisley recently offered their DIY expertise, support, and B and Q products to give our training room a much-needed makeover!

The amazing team of volunteers spent a day sprucing up the space with a fresh coat of paint and adding stylish new panelling. The conference room is central to so much of what we do here at Active Communities, from workshops and meetings to events that help us raise funds for our community projects. Thanks to B and Q’s support, the room now feels brighter, more welcoming, and ready to host even more activities that bring people together.

This wonderful transformation was part of B and Q’s Community Days programme, an initiative that sees teams from B and Q stores across the country giving their time to support local charities.

Margo Shearer, Deputy Manager of B and Q Paisley, said, “It’s great to be helping out Active Communities this year. The whole team loves putting their practical skills to use, especially when it’s to support a good cause. Seeing a project completed by the team gives a great sense of satisfaction.”

Amanda Moulson from Active Communities added, “We are delighted to have had the team from B and Q support us by giving up their time to improve our space. They have transformed the conference room into a bright and welcoming environment. A huge thank you to B and Q and their colleagues for making this happen!”

With this new look, we’re excited to welcome even more people to Station Seven and continue our mission of fostering health, wellbeing, and community connection. Thank you, B ad Q Paisley!
